Insurers live chat with members through new health app
Health insurers, including Amerigroup, Medica and HealthSpring, now can interact with members using an iPhone app created by Warm Health, a healthcare communications and disease management company. The Warm Health App, which is available on iTunes, features a live chat option to create a direct line of communication between members and their insurers' care management staff, reported MedCity News. Users can record their mood, weight and other personal information that can help prompt a conversation with their care manager. The app also provides the option for email communication. An Android version of the Warm Health App will be available in June. Article
