CMS posts Medicare Advantage quality ratings

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has enhanced its database that consumers use to select a Medicare Advantage plan, reported LifeHealthPro. The agency has posted plans' quality ratings to the selection system, as well as spreadsheets and other documents explaining how the ratings are determined. The database currently includes 42 columns of information for 578 plans available, allowing users to determine whether, for example, they can get an appointment and how well the health plan has controlled certain measures within its membership.
