The nonprofit, Boston-based Neighborhood Health Plan, best known for managing the care of low-income people on Medicaid, is accelerating a push into the market for large employers, according to The Boston Globe. The expansion plan is part of an effort to rebuild its finances after losing more than $100 million last year. The company, an arm of Partners HealthCare, has a network that includes most of Partners' 6,000 doctors and all of its 10 hospitals, among them Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's in Boston, the article notes.
