Employers warming up to idea of private exchanges

Employers may be open to considering a private exchange, but there needs to be guidance in terms of how those exchanges get paid, reports Health Insurance Exchange. Enthusiasm for employers using private exchange continues to grow. In a recent survey from the Private Exchange Evaluation Collaborative, 20 percent or companies they are considering the option for 2016, while 41 percent are considering it for 2018. One holdup: Payment models between private exchanges vary--some involve per employee, per month costs, while some have built-in commissions--and employers want transparency about how exchanges are going to make money. Article
